In 2016, I transformed our old 1922 fruit farmhouse into a residential home with adjacent two self-contained B&B guesthouses. No hassles with other guests at the breakfast buffet, no obligatory calls at 8 a.m. You get your own door code, your own entrance, and you decide when to get up and what to eat.
The funny thing is that many people think that a bed and breakfast always means that you get together with the owner and other guests breakfast. But with us, you get all the benefits of a personal welcome without the drawbacks of mandatory social moments. You have a espresso machine in your room, fresh coffee beans, and the Albert Heijn is literally 200 meters away.

Delicious private accommodation near Utrecht in our small guesthouse and wake up to the smell of freshly ground coffee from the espresso machine in your room. Make your own breakfast with honey from our bees. The stay with us is on a lodging basis, the AH is around the corner.
New Package with Beekeeper Workshop
From 2025, I will be giving our guests a 1.5-hour beginner's workshop in Beekeeping for bee lovers who have little or no experience with the work of a beekeeper and are interested in the work in bees.

Our apiary is right next to the guesthouse in Driebergen. Our local honey from Driebergen is distinctly different from supermarket honey. It contains more natural nutrients, enzymes and local pollen. Moreover, in every jar you taste the characteristic taste of the flowers on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug.
The Beekeeper workshop will be given during the flying season from 18 degrees. When the hives can open, we'll get to work with the bees. But before we get started, you'll get a beekeeper's suit so you minimize the chance of getting stung.
In the guesthouse you can have a jar of honey buy.

Beekeeper Workshop
This workshop will give you insight and practical experience in the conditions and actions necessary to work "in the bees" in a way that is safe for yourself and for the bees. I teach the workshop in a 1-on-1 setting only.

The door is open to you 24 hours a day, so you can check in at any time and feel at home. And with the Early Check in option, you can check in from 1 p.m. onwards.
